Spring is my favourite time of year. It’s filled with the promise of new life and the hope of warmer, sunnier days to come. I like to fully immerse myself into each season, whether it’s pumpkin picking in the autumn or making my own Easter wreath in the Spring. For me, the changing of the seasons is a reason to celebrate and update little things around the home. Weddings are no exception, and one of the first things I say to my couples when they are beginning to think about how they want their wedding to look and feel, is to consider the season they are due to get married in.
When I think of a spring wedding, I visualise soft pastel shades of dusty blue and peachy pink, and an abundance of blossoms, peonies and lilacs. It’s the perfect time of year to tie the knot and to create that romantic, ethereal look which we all find ourselves swooning over on our favourite blogs.
Below, I’ve designed two gorgeous springtime styling concepts for you to explore if you’re considering a springtime wedding.
If you don’t already follow me on Pinterest, go ahead and give me a follow. You’ll find lots more inspiration images centred around a romantic, whimsical and romantic aesthetic.
Perfect if you’re looking to incorporate pastel tones but don’t want the overall look to appear too feminine. Dusty blue and peach is the perfect colour combination to create a more grown up springtime, romantic feel for your day.
I just adore cherry blossoms. For some reason I find myself forgetting all about them when mentioning my favourite flowers, but these are definitely one of them. They really do resemble the very essence of springtime and the beauty it brings. Perfect if you’re looking for a whimsical and romantic feel and you’re not afraid to incorporate a little femininity with soft hues of pink.
